I have a unique collection of skills and experience, with backgrounds ranging from scientific research to the performing arts.

This website is designed to introduce the different aspects of my background. I am passionate about using my experience and skills from the creative world to better communicate science and mental health research to industry, policymakers and the general population.

bio

Coming from a mixed background of Bachelor of Arts (Drama)/Bachelor of Science (Psychology), Dr Caitlin Yolland completed her PhD at Swinburne University in 2020. She currently works as a Postdoctoral researcher in the Centre for Mental Health, also at Swinburne. She completed her PhD under the supervision of Professor Susan Rossell, with a focus on Cognitive Neuroscience. She also teaches undergraduate psychology and statistics at Deakin University and Swinburne Online.

Caitlin was the president of the Students of Brain Research Committee in 2017, and the Higher Degree by Research student representative on the Centre for Mental Health Executive Committee (Swinburne University) in 2019. She currently is a member of the Australian Cognitive Neuroscience Society (ACNS) Equity and Diversity working group, and an organising committee member for the Body images and Related Disorders (BiRD) Conference, 2021.
